Naughton Recycling Center
Who we are at Naughton Recycling Center
The Naughton Recycling Center, commonly known as NRC, was started with the purpose of providing the community, and surrounding community, with an affordable option for their disposable needs.
NRC works directly with Naughton & Son Recycling and was built in 2009 by George M. Naughton, the owner of Naughton & Son Recycling, LLC and we offer an over the scale disposal option. We follow standard recycling procedures and protocol and process and ship many materials off site. If you have your own vehicle to haul construction debris or any trash that you may have, we charge per ton over the scale.
NRC is committed to providing the highest level of service to any person or company that utilizes that NRC facility. NRC's Facility Procedure
Recycling Procedures
- Material weigh-in, receipt and inspection
- Materials accepted are sorted to recover recyclables
- The wheeled loader and facility staff sort recyclables
- Recyclables are temporarily sorted on the building floor
- Equipment then moves the recyclables to storage containers
- Recyclables are transported to end users
- Non-recyclable materials are transported to disposal sites

- NRC's inspection, separation, storage and transport procedures utilize mechanical and manual handling of materials
- NRC operates in compliance with all DES regulations

- Video display devices
- Propane tanks and empty containers (incidental to the load)
